Rainbow Goblins

I haven't posted anything in forever, so I thought I'd put up my favorite piece from the last project that I worked on.

The Fifth Element Project

It's been awhile since I've gotten the chance to post anything, so I thought I'd unload my fifth element project. We were asked to create an environment for The Fifth Element that didn't appear in the film. My environment is supposed to be down below the fog in the gutter of the city. The plants here have adapted to draw energy from electricity since there's not enough sunlight for photosynthesis. Below are ideations, schematics, comps, and some of the other junk that lead up to my final piece.

Photoshop Bootcamp

I've been doing these digital studies as part of my Photoshop bootcamp. The last two paintings are both based on the same photo, but they were approached using distinctly different methods.

What time is it?

ADVENTURE TIME! I did this quick 26x20" poster for a friend going to a Porter Robinson show (the words are song lyrics). Although the project was brief, it still felt great to switch from digital back to traditional for a bit.
