After watching way too many online tutorials (plus getting plenty of help and advice from my friends), I moved from painting in Sketchbook Pro to painting in Photoshop. I spent 4hrs. on the pan, and about 6-8hrs. on the study of 10th street in San Jose. It's an uphill battle, but I keep finding myself liking Photoshop more and more after each project.
